Access to healthy food is essential to
students’ learning and well-being. We recognize the added stress on
families when finances are limited. Let us continue to help! We have two nutrition programs at CCI: the in-school nutrition program and the Helping Hands Backpack Program.
In-school nutrition program:
We provide nutritious snacks freely accessible to all CCI students. These snacks (fruit, cheese, yogurt, veggie crackers, hummus) are located throughout the school building. We receive funding through the Eat Well to Excel
program, however it only covers a small portion of our expenses. As such, we are asking for our CCI
community’s support to allow us to continue our enhanced in-school
nutrition program.
If you are interested in making an online donation, log into your School Cash Online account. For those without a School Cash account, click here to make a donation as a guest. Click on the “Make a Donation” button in the top right corner. You will then be able to choose your donation amount, select CCI, and an initiative that you would like to support. Tax receipts are issued for donations regardless of denomination, upon completion of transaction. We thank you in advance for your support of our school!
Helping Hands Backpack Program
On a weekly basis, CCI
supports a number of families in need by providing healthy food
including fruits, vegetables, dairy, cereals, canned goods, pasta, etc
for consumption at home.
If you are interested in
contributing, please click the link HERE to donate on School Cash Online. Tax receipts will be sent via surface mail for
donations of $20 or more.
Thank you to our generous community who
financially supports both of these important programs.
