Wellness Wednesdays - brought to you by SWAG
Student Wellness Activities Group (SWAG) - is launching Wellness Wednesdays starting March 4! Every Wednesday at lunch, there will be a different Wellness-focused activities for students to participate in. Please see the schedule below. 

First Wednesday of every month - Yoga in the Drama Room
Second Wednesday of every month - Maker Space Activity in the Library
Third Wednesday of every month - Just Dance location TBD
Fourth Wednesday of every month - Library Live - more details to come
Any students who would like to join SWAG, join the meetings on Tuesdays at lunch in Room 112.

CCI Spirit Week - April 13-17
Monday- Spring Drip Day - Wear your spring colours, florals, etc.
Tuesday- Character Day - Dress as your favourite character from a Movie or TV show/
Wednesday- Country vs. Country - Country Club or Country Music? You decide!
Thursday- Beach Day - Wear your beachy attire and get excited for summer!
Friday- Generations Day - Dress as a different generation for the day!

School Bus Evacuation Training - April 14

The Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium (SCSTC), in partnership with our School Bus Operators, will be offering School Bus Evacuation Training to all home-to-school transported students during the week of April 13 to 17, 2026.
On April 14, school bus drivers will be educating students on how to evacuate a school bus safely in an emergency situation. This program is a follow-up to the training provided during School Bus Safety Week in October 2025.

Makerspace Magic Event - MAY 7,  Pre-registration is now open!

 Makerspace Magic is back again this year! In partnership with School Council and the Student Wellness Advisory Group (S.W.A.G.), CCI is excited to invite our families to an evening of creativity, movement, mindfulness, and fun. This year’s event will highlight a wide range of creative, active, and “brain healthy” activities offered at CCI - through our Library Makerspace programming, wellness initiatives, clubs, school events, and courses. Families will have the opportunity to try a mix of making, movement, and mindfulness activities together!

Date: Thursday, May 7, 2026
Time: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
•    Session 1: 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm
•    Dinner & Community Partners Fair: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
•    Session 2: 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Families are invited to join us for one session or the entire evening! Each session includes:
•    A short 15-20 min. informational presentation
•    Choice based, hands on workshops and interactive activities that families can participate in.
🍕 Dinner Information
During the dinner break, you can explore our Community Partners Fair, and then take some time together to work on a puzzle or play a board game! Families are able to pre order pizza for dinner through SchoolCash Online.
