Grade 9 Orientation Day 2018 - Aug. 29th @ 8:00 a.m.

Where?   CCI in the Owl's Nest (that means the main gym!)

Transportation?   Students must arrange for their own rides.


Schedule for the day:

  • 8:00am – 12:30pm  - LINK CREW Welcome (Students only)

    This is the kick off to your grade nine year! You will meet lots of students and have a great time. This is an event you do not want to miss!

  • 12:30pm – 1:30pm BBQ lunch for sale (Parents welcome)

    $2 for a hot dog or veggie dog

    $1 for pop

    Free water – bring your own refillable bottle

  • 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (Parents welcome)

    Pick up your timetable

    Tour the school with your parents

    Find out about Bus routes

    Locker Assignment occurs with Link Crew in the morning


    Student Fees - Individual Prices  

    It is PREFERRED if you pay online - School Cash 

    Payments may also be made in person (cash or cheques made out to "CCI Activities") on Orientation Day.

    Prices are as follows:                     
  • Dudley Lock $7.00
  • Student Activity Fee $20

    Student card required for all co-curricular and spirit events
  • Yearbook $40
  • Gym Uniform t-shirt and shorts for $25 (Sold separately for $15 each)

Helpful Tips…

  • Hallway etiquette- walk on the right side, don't loiter
  • Pre-order subs, eat in cafeteria or bring your lunch
  • Practise opening your lock/keep your combo safe

  • Be Yourself!
  • Step out of your comfort zone
  • Participate in Spirit Days
  • Get involved in clubs, sports, etc.
